I have no issue in principal with the neighbour wishing to extend, I have done so myself, however this proposed application I feel is too big and overbearing. It extends beyond any other house in the road and the scale and height is bulky and will cause loss of natural light into our rear right side room.

I also note the proposal for the roof construction looks like glass meaning there is a chance this could impact on privacy as I will be able to look directly down on them from my 1st floor rear bedrooms and visa versa.

This property has previously been extended to the rear by around 4m. This application proposes a further 4m plus. Does local planning policy allow everyone to continue extending out along neighbouring boundaries with no limitations?
