There appears to be no tangible evidence to support that in the context of Bedford town centre vision that a further gambling outlet will benefit the area given the recent opening of 65-67 High Street MERKUR Slots Bedford in terms of complementing the town centre current offer, attracting desired foot flow or enhance town centre.

The planned illuminated facia signs and externally projecting illuminated sign should be opposed as not in keeping with the recently improved High Street.
This planning application should be rejected

Even though amendments have been made, the sign advising this establishment is not a welcome addition to the High Street, so this application should be opposed as outlined in my email below.
