I have no objection to the extension itself but I am concerned about how close the north wall of the new extension on Allenise will be to the south wall of my bungalow next door, Stoneways - the gap appears to be approximately 350mm. This end wall of Stoneways was originally a single skin garage wall built in the mid 1950s and therefore the footings are unlikely to be of today's standard. The footings for the new extension could undermine the footings of this wall leading to risk of damage and subsidence. Furthermore, the gap between the two walls does not leave space for any access for maintenance to either property.
There is also a boundary wall between the two properties which belongs to my bungalow and is at risk of damage/collapse if the work is carried out so nearby, this wall fills the gap between Allenise and the end wall of Stoneways.
